Lochgelly Community Council launches website.

Lochgelly Community Council have recently launched a dedicated website for community council business which is freely available for residents to access.

Secretary George Elder highlighted

‘We are aware that more and more people are accessing services online and the community council felt it was important to establish ourselves online with a dedicated website, ‘The website currently contains all our latest minutes, dates of meeting, local planning developments and a wealth of other information about local projects’

The site provides a central point for all community council related data, allowing easier access to important local information.

‘Although we recognise that the internet is playing a more central and important role in everyday lives, we still recognise that not everyone has access to online services, therefore, we will still continue to highlight important issues in more traditional ways, such as the Central Fife Times and through engagement with residents on the streets, and at our monthly meetings’

Internet users can access the new site at http://www.lochgellycommunitycouncil.com

The next meeting of the Lochgelly Community Council is to be held at the 385 Club on 10th June 2015.

All are welcome to attend.
