At the March meeting of the Lochgelly Community Council, Councillors called for action to be taken on the old Fab Tek premises in Hall Street.
Councillors highlighted that the building is in a complete state of disrepair. The roofs of the buildings are collapsing, water is pouring from the gutters and down pipes. Overall this building is a danger to the people of the town. It is effecting the health and well-being of us all.
The Community Council are aware that there were plans a few years ago for the premises to be knocked down and for a supermarket to be developed. However these plans never materialised, we now wan the council to change the use of the land from industrial to housing in order that it can be developed fully.
